Biome is a social media application operated by Genesis Tech Solution. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Biome mobile app and related services available at biome-aura.com.

When you create an account or log in, we collect:

Authentication details from supported login methods (for example, Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple)
1.2 User Content
We collect the content you choose to create or share in Biome, including:

Photos, videos, and audio you upload or record
Captions, text, and other information attached to your content
1.3 Camera & Microphone (Protected Resources)
Biome may request access to certain device features so you can create and share content.
Camera Access
Used to take photos or record videos for posts, profile updates, or messages.
Example: When you tap “Add Photo/Video” to create a post, Biome uses the camera to capture the media you want to share.
Microphone Access
Used to record audio for videos, voice notes, or audio-enabled posts/messages.
Example: When you record a video post or send a voice message, Biome uses the microphone so your audio is included.
Important Notes
Biome only accesses the camera or microphone after you grant permission.
We use these features only when you actively choose to use them.
We do not access the camera or microphone in the background.
If you decline permission, Biome will not collect that media and some features may not work.
1.4 Usage & Device Data
To operate and improve the app, we may collect:
App activity (features used, pages viewed, time spent)
Crash logs and performance data
IP address
Device type and operating system version
Device identifiers (for example, Firebase Instance ID)

3.3 Public Content

4. Your Choices & Rights

Manage notifications and privacy settings inside the app.
Allow or deny camera/microphone access anytime through your device settings.
Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us at admin@biome-aura.com.
4.1 Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Biome account at any time.
How to delete your account in the app:
Open Biome App
Go to Profile → Settings
Tap Account → Delete Account
Follow the confirmation steps
What happens after deletion:
Your account profile and personal information will be removed from active systems.
Your private content (messages, drafts, private media) will be deleted or anonymized.
Public content you posted may remain visible to other users unless you delete it before deleting your account, or unless required to be removed by law or safety reasons.
Some data may be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, or regulatory purposes for a limited period.
Deletion timeline:
Account deletion is processed within a reasonable period after request, unless extended retention is required by law or safety needs.
Alternative deletion request:
If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by emailing admin@biome-aura.com from your registered email.
5. Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active.
User content remains stored until you delete it or close your account, unless retention is required for legal or safety reasons.
Diagnostic and crash logs are kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting, security, and stability improvements.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
Biome is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We apply appropriate protections consistent with this Policy when doing so.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at biome-aura.com/privacy with a new effective date.
